This is perfect for anyone at any level! I was able to make quality scarves with ease. I haven’t played around with the different sizes but I imagine I can make shawls too. This is my second set of these. My first set I bought over a decade ago and while it was good the way I stored them broke the tines off. These are made so much better than the older style.

So far, I have only used the purple loom. It has worked great for scarves. I also recommend Loops & Threads Charisma yarn to use with these looms. If you are going with a medium weight yarn, you would probably want to use double strands to make it work well with the peg spacing these large gauge looms. 

I didn't find the instruction booklet particularly helpful, but video instructions can help you learn the basics. I used a loom knitting scarf tutorial and video by Marching North, and I was quickly on my way to making scarves with one of these long looms. (The included knitting tool is of solid quality as well.)

I was excited to get my loom set. But when it arrived the 18” loom was missing from the box. Disappointed! whennyou pay for something you SHOULD receive all that you paid for…mot just part of it.

i am very disapointed. i work 60 hours a week and i ordered this and my husband picked it up because i couldnt only to find the needle and the hook missing. i dont have time to go back and forth to exchange things so i had to end up purchasing a hook and needle feom amazon which cost me more money.
